Start Making Sense- A Tribute to Talking Heads
Start Making Sense are selling out rooms throughout the eastern half of the United States. This band is a huge hit as the Talking Heads are never on tour, and the band's amazing dedication to the music and fun loving attitude has proven to be a favorite at clubs and festivals.

If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this 7-piece Talking Heads Tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads entire career, including songs Talking Heads never performed live! Together they bring much of the Heads unique live show to the stage, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, some have said this is the closest thing you'll get to seeing Talking Heads again.

N.E.W. athens
N.E.W. athens was formed in 2015 when four veteran musicians came together to pay homage to the music of R.E.M., one of America's most unique and successful bands, N.E.W. athens' performances will delight serious and casual R.E.M. fans alike, with a wide array of music from the band's 30-year career.

N.E.W. athens focuses mainly on songs from R.E.M’s earliest albums, including songs from Chronic Town, the band's debut EP, and albums such as Murmur, Reckoning, Fables of the Reconstruction, and Document. However, N.E.W. athens’ set also includes songs from R.E.M’s later albums, including Out of Time, Monster, and Automatic for the People. R.E.M.’s most dedicated fans will delight in the covers of classic songs such as “Carnival of Sorts (Boxcars),” “So. Central Rain (I’m Sorry),” “Finest Worksong” and “Begin the Begin,” while casual fans will enjoy authentic performances of the band’s hits, including “The One I Love,” “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine),” “Man on the Moon," and others.

Based in Rockville, Maryland—the city memorialized in “(Don’t go Back to) Rockville"—N.E.W. athens is comprised of both veterans and newcomers to the D.C.-area music scene, including John Ohly on guitar and vocals; Steve Aaron, on drums and vocals; Will Styne on bass and vocals, and Dana Tofig on keyboards and vocals. The band has performed at a variety of venues in the mid-Atlantic, including The Ottobar in Baltimore, Villain & Saint in Bethesda, Md., and Jammin' Java, in Vienna, Va.
